Trainee Field Service Engineer (Electrical Fault Finding)

Are you an aspiring Field Service Engineer or similar with basic fault-finding, looking to join a leading business that can offer training on highly specialised automated equipment, including PLC’s?
On offer is the chance to join a market leading, global business that provide full product training and clear progression routes.
In this position you would be predominantly covering a Central Belt patch, with some customers as high as Aberdeen and some as low as Newcastle. Your responsibility will include servicing, diagnosing and repairing equipment, with some break down calls. One week in four you will be on-call between 5pm and 8am, however call outs are rare and you will not work during normal hours.
A global leader in automated storage and retrieval solutions, providing vertical lift modules, carousels, and warehouse systems that streamline material handling and improve efficiency across manufacturing and logistics.
This role would suit an aspiring Field Service Engineer or similar with basic electrical Fault-Finding experience, looking to advance their skills and boost their earnings.
The Role
- Covering predominantly Central Belt – Some travel up to Aberdeen and down to Newcastle
- Servicing, diagnosing and repairing equipment
- Break down calls
- Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm, 40 hours
- On call one week in four – no requirement to work normal hours
