Role Overview
We are seeking motivated Town Planners to join an Edinburgh-based National Development & Infrastructure Planning Team. Be part of a forward-thinking group driving planning excellence in diverse, innovative projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and assist in planning submissions for large-scale projects, including S36, S37, Marine, and EIA applications.
- Advise on bespoke planning solutions with an emphasis on Scottish planning policies.
- Design and deliver consenting strategies alongside Planning Directors.
- Mentor junior team members, enhance communication skills, and support business development initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Near or fully RTPI Chartered.
- Planning consultancy or local government experience (preferably in Scotland).
- Expertise in Scottish planning policy, with proven strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with an interest in emerging trends in planning.
