Tick Transformation Scientist – Self-Limiting Strains

Job Description

Flyttr in Edinburgh seeks a Scientist to join our R&D team focused on the research and development of self-limiting technology in arthropod species. You will help generate novel tick strains and design experiments under the Team Lead, coordinating with the molecular department to deliver progress against priorities.

You will record data precisely, follow SOPs and health & safety rules, train staff, and communicate outcomes to the Team Lead, with occasional weekend shifts as part of the rota.
