Overview

Theatre Practitioner – ScrubGlasgow Hospital Theatre Permanent Part Time Up to £41,250 pro rata depending on experience 29 hours per week

Main duties

Work in a multi-disciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload. Use state-of-the-art technology, equipment and facilities. Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team. Provide high-quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary team setting. Create high-quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence based. Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development, which can include Surgical First Assist training.

About us

Nuffield Health Glasgow Hospital Located in the heart of the West End of Glasgow; you will be working at one of Scotland’s leading private hospitals. This year, we embarked on phase three of our multi-million pound refurbishment, adding state of the art equipment like our Mako robotic arm for orthopedic surgery and a new ambulatory theatre. We have a special focus in the areas of orthopaedics, spinal surgery, ophthalmology, weight loss surgery and cosmetic treatment.

Qualifications

• Registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC.

Experience

• Post-registration experience in Scrub roles within a Theatre environment.
