Tenancy Support Worker
Location: Edinburgh & Midlothian (including Penicuik)
Hours: Full time, 36 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
Salary: £12.63 per hour (rising to £12.88 post probation) Pay award pending
We are seeking a Tenancy Support Worker to provide vital housing and community support to older adults across Edinburgh and Midlothian.
The Role & Responsibilities
- Provide hands on tenancy sustainment support.
- Assist with housing applications, including Housing Benefit and essential grants.
- Help individuals set up utility accounts (gas, electricity, etc.).
- Deliver person centred guidance to prevent homelessness and promote well being.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months experience supporting older adults within a care or community setting.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for community travel.
- Strong communication skills, empathy, and ability to work independently.
