At PAM Building UK we are on the lookout for a Technical Sales Manager to look after the Northeast and Scotland regions.

This Technical Sales Manager will be part of the technical sales team, a team that is close-knit and has a fantastic culture. You’ll be responsible for developing and driving the sales strategy across the cast iron soil drain and rainwater products within the northeast and Scotland regions.

You’ll be working with the whole sales cycle, working with distribution partners, working with designers for specifications, and contractors to get in projects

This role is covering the Northeast England and Scotland regions, successful candidates should live in the region as well as being comfortable in travelling. Due to the nature of the role candidates must possess a full UK driving license.

What we’re looking for:

  • You’ll have extensive sales experience, ideally within a similar product range and previously working within specification sales – you’ll have a proven track record of pitching and winning on projects
  • You will love being out meeting customers across distribution, contractors and specifiers – we would like successful candidates to be out on the road 3 days a week
  • You’ll be customer driven, wanting to go above and beyond to meet customer needs and demands
  • You’ll have all the right attitudes towards sales, you’ll be proactive, possessing excellent time management skills as well as hungry to deliver results

What you will be doing:

  • You’ll be working with distribution partners ensuring our PAM Building products have a successful route to market
  • You’ll be building positive customer relationships with clients across; distribution, contractors and specifiers at all levels
  • You’ll be involved in pitching for projects, sometimes being involved in managing complex negotiation situations
  • Full accountability of budget and financial authority level that will help you contribute to the sales/revenue for soil, drain & rainwater
