Allstaff Manufacturing Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of Technical Operator. Working with a global manufacturing company. We are looking for candidates who have previous manufacturing experience, although not essential as full training will be given. We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills, be positive in all aspects of the job and have a high level of flexibility as shift work will be involved.
Shift Pattern – Candidates must be available for all shifts.
- 06:00 – 14:00
- 14:00 – 22:00
- 22:00 – 06:00
- 06:00-18:00 / 18:00-06:00
Duties
- Operation of bottling & packaging equipment.
- Ensuring quality standards are met throughout the production process.
- Cleaning production equipment and work areas to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
- Reporting quality issues and production concerns to the relevant team members.
- Following all health & safety procedures and company policies.
- Working effectively as part of a team to achieve production targets.
Additional Technical Operator Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor automated production, bottling and packaging equipment to ensure safe and efficient production.
- Carry out routine machine checks, basic adjustments and report any faults or performance issues to minimise downtime.
- Perform quality inspections throughout the production process, ensuring products and packaging meet required specifications.
- Complete product changeovers, equipment cleaning and routine housekeeping to maintain high manufacturing standards.
- Accurately record production data, quality checks and operational information in line with company procedures.
- Work closely with production, engineering and quality teams to achieve production targets while maintaining a strong focus on health, safety and continuous improvement.
