Senior System Verification Engineer Audio & Connected Devices
We re looking for a Senior System Verification Engineer to lead verification efforts across cutting-edge audio and video products. In this role, you ll ensure integrated solutions meet the highest standards of quality, interoperability, and performance. This is a 6-month contract based in Edinburgh. Rate: £60 – £70ph – outside IR35
Responsibilities
- Drive system-level verification for advanced audio communication products.
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans and cases for complex ecosystems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate innovative testing strategies.
- Utilize state-of-the-art lab tools to validate hardware/software interoperability.
- Provide technical leadership and ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in live environments.
Requirements
- Extensive and proven recent and relevant experience in system testing, quality engineering, or related technical fields.
- Solid expertise in identifying customer-impacting defects, and advanced knowledge of software and hardware interoperability issues and solutions.
- Bachelor s degree in engineering, computer science, Electronics or a related field. A master s degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
- In-depth understanding of architectures, protocols, and integrations within Audio Electronics / Communications
- Hands-on experience with C, C++, Python, and scripting for automation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and clear communication.
