Support Worker/Personal Assistant – Hawick – 3128

Urgent

Job Description

I am a young girl living at home with my family in Hawick, and I am looking for someone to come and spend a bit of time with me each week to allow my Mum and Dad to spend some time with my younger siblings.

I have behavioural challenges which can make it difficult for my Mum at times so for her to have a little break and for me to be able to spend some 1-1 time with someone doing an activity that I enjoy, would be really good.

I have a feeding tube, but this is not something that you would need to deal with. I can and do eat but I also tend to avoid food, as part of my behavioural challenges so have a feeding tube so my Mum can make sure that I get the correct nutrients.

Someone I can have fun with but someone who will ensure my safety at all times is necessary.

Days and times can be completely flexible, around school and there may possibly be more hours during the school holidays. I have been awarded 4 hours per week. Outings to the local park or for some cake at a coffee shop nearby would be lovely.
