Job Title: Support Worker

Location: East Lothian

Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting a team of support workers to deliver high-quality care and support to our clients.

Responsibilities:

Providing support and care to service users as part of a team of support workers
Coordinating and allocating work tasks, ensuring that support is delivered effectively and in line with individual care plans
Providing hands-on support to individuals, following care plans and assisting with daily tasks
Undertaking assessments and reviews of individual care plans
Liaising with families, carers, and external professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care
Monitoring and reporting on the progress and well-being of clients
Supporting with staff training, development, and supervision

Requirements:

Previous experience working in a similar role within the social care sector
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
Experience of working with individuals in a care setting
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
