Our Aberdeen Housing Support service offers assistance to those who have experienced, or are at risk of, homelessness. The support that we provide is always person-centred: involving service users at every stage of the design and implementation of their support plans.

Our Housing First team provides support based on 7 core principles, designed to ensure that people who have experienced homelessness have access to a stable home and access to person-centred support for as long as they need it. By adhering to those principles we believe we deliver effective and innovative supports to some of the most vulnerable people in our community.

Our Outreach Housing Support teams works across localities to enable people to maintain independent tenancy sustainment, reconnect with their local communities and assist them to build resilience to prevent repeat homelessness. We respond to the individual needs of those who are homeless or at the risk of becoming homeless, including those who are rough sleeping, or are in temporary or permanent accommodation.

This service supports people who may have multiple needs which could be related to various issues including mental health, alcohol and other drug use, offending, finance and employment.
