Job Description

Dining Room Supervisory Assistant – Abbeyhill Primary School

Salary: £26,205 – £26,525 (pro rated for part time and sessional). Hours: 5 per week, 38 weeks sessional. Working pattern: Monday to Thursday from 12:00 – 13:15.

Role Overview

We are looking for an individual with excellent organisational and inter personal skills to join our support staff team, working as a Dining Hall Supervisor. The role entails supervising our dining hall and outdoor packed lunch area during the busy lunch period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the dining hall and outdoor packed lunch area during lunch.
  • Engage positively and professionally with pupils, demonstrating a patient and nurturing approach.
  • Bring vitality, flexibility, and a passion for helping pupils develop and grow through positive interactions.

Legal Requirements

This post is regulated work with children. Candidates must join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Individuals who have spent a continuous period of 3 months or more abroad in the last 5 years must provide an Overseas Criminal Record Check. Employment and start date are subject to satisfactory pre employment checks.

Benefits and Conditions

Salary is a pro rated figure and increases annually until the top of the range. Flexible working arrangements are available.
