Specialty Trainee
Scottish Subspecialty Training Post in Maternal and Fetal Medicine

The post is a subspecialist training role in Maternal and Fetal Medicine. The training lasts a fixed period of two years and will be based at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow, and the Simpson Centre for Reproductive Health, Edinburgh.
Qualifications
- Applicants must currently be in a specialty training post, hold a National Training Number (NTN), and have completed five years in a specialty training programme.
- Applicants should possess the MRCOG or equivalent and have demonstrated an appropriate foundation of interest in maternal and fetal medicine within their eportfolio.
- Applicants must have knowledge of the curriculum for SST in MFM and must consider how they will achieve the required competencies, including those within clinical research.
- Applicants from outside the South East or West of Scotland must obtain the agreement of their Postgraduate Dean to retain their original training number and to return to their original Deanery at the end of the two year training programme.
