Street Lighting Engineer –The Role:
As a Street Lighting Engineer, you will play a key role in the maintenance, installation, and repair of street lighting and associated electrical systems. You will ensure that all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards, contributing to a safer and more efficient urban environment.
Street Lighting Engineer –Key Responsibilities:
– Carry out the installation, maintenance, and repair of street lighting, illuminated signs, and electrical street furniture
– Ensure compliance with IEE Wiring Regulations and electrical industry Health & Safety standards
– Conduct fault diagnosis, testing, and inspections on electrical systems
– Work collaboratively with internal teams and external contractors to deliver high-quality services
– Keep accurate records of work completed and ensure all documentation is up to date
Street Lighting Engineer –You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
– A minimum of an Electrical Apprenticeship
– A recognised Electrical Industry Health & Safety qualification
– Up-to-date knowledge of IEE Regulations
– A strong understanding of electrical systems and maintenance procedures
– A proactive approach and excellent problem-solving skills
– A full UK driving licence
