We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Supervisor to join our team!
This is a hands on role for someone with strong practical knowledge of aquatics who enjoys working with customers and colleagues and takes pride in helping a shop run smoothly and to a high standard.
This position is best suited to someone who already has the aquatic knowledge and supervisory experience to step confidently into the role. We are looking for someone who can use their own initiative, take responsibility, and lead by example while continuing to develop their skills as part of the team.
As Supervisor, you will help oversee the day-to-day running of the shop, maintaining high standards of livestock care, customer service and shop presentation. You will support the team, organise daily tasks and be confident making sensible day-to-day decisions when needed.
The right person will:
- Have strong practical knowledge and experience in aquatics
- Have previous supervisory, management or other relevant senior-level experience
- Be confident in taking responsibility and using their own initiative
- Be practical, proactive and solutions-focused.
- Lead by example with a positive, professional attitude
- Naturally notice what needs doing and get involved without being asked
- Deliver excellent, friendly customer service
- Be reliable, organised and work well as part of a team
- Be comfortable working in a busy retail environment
We are a dedicated team that takes pride in maintaining high standards and providing the very best care for our livestock. We are looking for someone who shares this approach and is ready to make a positive contribution from day one. As a retail business caring for livestock, the role includes weekend and Bank Holiday working as part of the normal rota.
