Job Description

At GO Outdoors, our purpose is to inspire and equip everyone for life outdoors. We are looking for a Store Colleague to deliver a great in store experience every day.

Role Overview

As a Store Colleague you will greet customers, maintain displays, replenish stock, and support a positive, fast paced retail environment. You will ensure service and presentation standards reflect GO Outdoors values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers with confidence and energy, offering friendly support and helping them find the right products.
  • Use in store systems to check stock, share product options, and support the full customer journey.
  • Keep the shop floor clean, organised, and fully replenished, ensuring displays stay fresh and aligned with GO Outdoors standards.
  • Support day to day store tasks, including till duties, restocking, and following all safety and store guidelines.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Positive, enthusiastic approach suited to a fast paced, customer focused retail environment.
  • Strong communication skills, confident engaging customers and working as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn, take on new tasks, and develop skills in a supportive store environment.Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, evenings, and busy seasonal periods.
  • A genuine passion for the outdoors and GO Outdoors product range.
  • Proactive attitude, confident approaching customers and supporting sales opportunities.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring the shop floor is always well presented and customer ready.
  • Self motivated, with a desire to learn, improve, and progress within the business.
