STEM Lead
Immediate Start

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated STEM lead to join one of our universities based in Aberdeen on an immediate start!
The candidate should provide the leadership and vision to deliver excellent student outcomes; quality assurance and enhancement that is in keeping with the OES requirements and in line with the Quality Code; and curriculum innovation which embeds strong collaborative working with both the University and the network.
You will be responsible for leading and supporting your academic team. Reporting to the Head of Curriculum and Progression, you will work closely with senior colleagues within and be accountable for the delivery of contractually required progression rates to the University.
Contract type: Full Time (37.5 hours) and Fixed Term (25/09/2026)
Location: Aberdeen
Salary: up to 42,318 per annum
Start Date: ASAP
Essential Criteria:
- Proven ability to build effective internal and external relationships (including with the University and international stakeholders)
- Experience leading in a multi-disciplinary environment and delivering organisational change
- Experience giving constructive feedback with measurable outcomes
- Familiarity with HR duties, including training delivery and recruitment
- Strong organisational and delegation skills with ability to meet tight deadlines
- Experience in managing internal communications and conveying complex messages
- Knowledge of international student welfare and cultural sensitivities
- Proficiency in data management and quality assurance processes
- Demonstrated ability to operate at all levels of an organisation, including external partnerships
