Job Description

Opportunity

This exciting opportunity of SGB, Part-Time at Johnstone will involve sale of tickets and other rail service products, providing customers with information and assistance. Maintenance / cleaning of station environments including platforms, waiting areas and toilets. Ensuring that station complies with the Service Quality Incentive Regime.

What you bring

  • Highly motivated, flexible, and enthusiastic
  • An effective communicator with a customer focused approach
  • Well presented and committed to delivering excellent service
  • A supportive team player who also shows individual initiative
  • Punctual and have basic numeracy skills, with prior experience in customer assistance.
  • A Customer Service SVQ (advantageous, but not essential)
  • Knowledge of booking office regulations and procedures (desirable)
  • Familiarity with ScotRail customer service and station cleanliness standards.
  • A working understanding of COSHH regulations relevant to cleaning and station maintenance.
  • Basic knowledge of safety protocols and the minor repairs procedure for station equipment and facilities.

Further information

Station Grade Area and Internal GPR and RDR posts will have a contractual commitment to work, when required by the company, up to a maximum of 13 Sunday turns per calendar.
