Dublin 12 – Workshop & Site Work
Hours: Full Time – Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm / Friday 8:00am-3:30pm
Overtime: Paid at overtime rates
Salary: €40,500 – €50,000 DOE
Join our client, a specialist engineering and metal fabrication company based in Dublin. They design, manufacture and install high-quality custom metal and stainless-steel solutions across sectors including construction, manufacturing and pharmaceuticals.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Stainless & Carbon Steel Fabricator to join their expanding team.
The Role
You will work hands-on with a variety of metals, cutting, shaping and assembling precision components to client specifications. The role involves both workshop and site-based work, maintaining high standards of quality, safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate fabrication tools and machinery including semi-CNC equipment, welders, grinders, guillotines, punch press and rollers
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Measure, cut and assemble metal components accurately
- Perform TIG and MIG welding on stainless and carbon steel
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
- Maintain a safe and organised working environment
About You
- Proven experience in stainless steel and carbon steel fabrication is desirable
- TIG welding experience essential; MIG welding advantageous
- A full clean driving licence is essential.
- Recognised apprenticeship desirable
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Safety-focused and team-oriented
