The Medical Division based in Raigmore Hospital in Inverness continues to progress an exciting programme of new ways of working within our wards and we are delighted to recruit to ward 6a for a Staff Nurse.
An interest in Cardiology/Diabetes and Endocrinology would be beneficial.
We are looking to appoint an exceptional candidate whose motivation to provide caring, high quality and safe nursing care comes as second nature. Putting our patients at the heart of what you do, you will support our healthcare support workers to deliver all aspects of care such as the completion of assessments for mobility, nutrition, dependency and skin viability, and contribute to nursing care plans, along with providing all personal care and undertaking observations, etc. Teamwork is at the heart of 6a.
We are committed to enhancing person-centred patient care, and to support you in your role, full training will be provided as part of a competency based programme, alongside an enthusiastic, flexible and compassionate approach. The successful candidate will be expected to work a flexible pattern which can include days, nights, weekends and public holidays. We offer self rostering to aid a family/work balance.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR CANDIDATES
- Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
