Responsibilities

You’ll be joining a multi-professional team committed to delivering high standards of care to people living with life limiting conditions.

Demonstrate an understanding of palliative care and a desire to work in a caring environment, supported by previous relevant experience to enable you to provide evidence based, individualised specialist palliative nursing care to inpatients, whilst adhering to statutory regulations and Hospice policies.

Work a mixture of internal rotation shifts, including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications and requirements

Registered staff nurse with experience in palliative care.

Criminal record check required; an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before the successful candidate can begin in post. The Hospice will pay/reimburse the cost of this check.
