Job Description

Senior QS / Commercial Manager

Glasgow – 2 days from home

36 months contract Virtual interview Mon-Fri

Certain Advantage is partnering with a key client to recruit a Senior QS / Commercial Manager. You will be developing procurement strategies, contract management plans and ITT processes (including supporting competitive and compliant tender submissions).

Responsibilities

  • Manage the tender process end-to-end, including preparation of documentation, commercial evaluation of bids, and supplier negotiations to achieve best value outcomes.
  • Cost planning, estimating, and benchmarking.
  • Procurement strategy development.
  • Commercial risk identification and pricing.
  • Stakeholder engagement across bid, design, and delivery teams.

Qualifications

  • Experience in pre-contract and tendering within major infrastructure projects, with strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
  • MRICS and/or MCIPS preferred.
