Position

Specialist Biomedical Scientist/Trainee, Haematology & Blood Transfusion (Band 6) – Permanent 36 hours per week

Location

Borders General Hospital, Blood Sciences Laboratory

Key Requirements

• HCPC registered
• Completed an IBMS Specialist Portfolio in Haematology/Transfusion (or Blood Sciences) or equivalent
• Band 6 candidates, otherwise placed on Band 5 until portfolio is completed

Key Responsibilities

Take part in the 24/7 shift pattern upon completion of competencies.

Working Hours

36 hours per week. 24/7 shift pattern.
