Job Description

Overview

We are looking for an innovative, highly motivated radiographer willing to make a contribution to the clinical workload in the Vascular, Interventional & Cardiac Specialities. Four theatres cover Vascular, Interventional & Cardiac specialties and an On Call system is in place for vascular, non-vascular and cardiac. We are a team of consultants, registrars, nurses, cardiac technicians and radiographers working together to look after an ever increasing number of patients. A flexible approach to work is essential. An analytical and enquiring approach to work as well as effective planning and organisational skills are required. This post should appeal to radiographers who wish to develop their expertise in a wide range of specialties.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the clinical workload in the Vascular, Interventional & Cardiac Specialities.
  • Work within a four theatre environment and participate in an On Call system for vascular, non-vascular and cardiac cases.
  • Collaborate with consultants, registrars, nurses, cardiac technicians and radiographers to care for patients.
  • Demonstrate a flexible approach and apply effective planning and organisational skills.
  • Develop expertise across a wide range of specialties.

Additional information

  • Agenda for Change full-time working week will reduce from 37 to 36 hours per week from 1/4/26; part-time hours reduce pro-rata with a corresponding increase in hourly rate.
