Job Description

Salary & Contract

Grade UE07: £41,064 – £48,822 per annum (pro rata for 21 hour part time work). Contract: Open ended, permanent. Location: College of Science and Engineering / The Data Lab.

Role Summary

The Data Lab seeks a solicitor to provide practical legal and contractual support across its projects, programmes and partnerships. The role involves drafting, reviewing, negotiating and managing a broad range of commercial and collaboration agreements, and providing proportionate legal guidance to colleagues on day to day matters.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review and negotiate commercial and collaboration agreements.
  • Manage the lifecycle of agreements, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Provide timely legal advice on day to day operational matters.
  • Support cross functional teams on contractual and legal matters.
