Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an effective learning disability team at Arrol park resource centre in Ayr. The health and social work team are collocated and have a positive multi-disciplinary approach to working with people with a learning disability. There is a supportive management team who offer regular supervision and training opportunities. Respite and day care services form part of the management team which makes for coordinated operational practice. The team is about to embark on opening a community hub in Ayr which offers meaningful supported employment , volunteering and social activities shaped by people with LD. We have a league of champions that provides feedback from people with LD on our strategy and policies. This has resulted in a strategic plan that reflects the need of service users and carers and is strongly linked to frontline practice. REQUIREMENTS
