Timber Assembly Operatives to join a busy and dynamic manufacturing team in Glasgow.

This is a hands on role suited to individuals with strong practical ability, good attention to detail, the ability to follow work instructions and technical drawings, and a drive to achieve high standards of quality and output.

What you’ll be doing:

As a Skilled Production Operative, you’ll be responsible for building and assembling timber and panel systems to support projects across Scotland. Your daily duties will include:

  • Following step by step process guides to build wall panels and install windows and doors within a fast moving manufacturing environment
  • Interpreting technical drawings to ensure builds are completed accurately and to the required quality standards
  • Using a range of hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Carrying out manual handling of timber and other materials
  • Working to daily quality and production targets
  • Keeping your work area clean, tidy and organised
  • Following all Health & Safety procedures and company policies
  • Working closely with your team and line leader to maintain efficient workflows
  • Supporting continuous improvement across the production process

Early Shift

Monday to Friday

6:00am – 2:00pm

£13.65 per hour, increasing to

£15.05 per hour

following successful completion of training.

Back Shift

Monday to Thursday

2:00pm – 10:00pm

Friday

2:00pm – 6:00pm

£15.08 per hour, increasing to

£16.63 per hour

following successful completion of training.

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in a production, fabrication, joinery, timber or assembly environment
  • Ability to read and follow technical drawings and detailed work instructions
  • Confidence using hand and power tools
  • Strong focus on quality, safety and achieving production targets
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and repetitive tasks
  • Good attention to detail and practical problem solving skills
  • Reliable, hardworking and punctual
  • A positive team player with a proactive attitude
