Job Description

SJIB Electrician / Electrician / Industrial Electrician required to join a world leading electromechanical manufacturer based in Aberdeen.
The Successful SJIB Electrician / Electrician / Industrial Electrician will provide commercial and electrical repair and installations electrical repair and installation of AC/DC circuits, control panels, battery sources and other industrial electrical related products and systems.
The SJIB Electrician / Electrician / Industrial Electrician will be an SJIB, 18th edition qualified electrician with a background of industrial / commercial electrical service and installation.
Package

  • £40,000 – £45,000
  • Overtime earnings of around £60k

SJIB Electrician / Electrician / Industrial Electrician Role

  • Will provide commercial and electrical repair and installations electrical repair and installation of AC/DC circuits, control panels, battery sources and other industrial electrical related products and systems.
  • Will ensure compliance with the 18th edition wiring regulations for all electrical work completed.
  • Submit accurate visit and time sheets duly signed by the customer upon completion of the work.
  • Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs industrial electrical engineering systems / equipment such as AC/DC circuits, generators, and AC/DC Motors.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.

SJIB Electrician / Electrician / Industrial Electrician Requirements

  • Experience as a Electrician / Industrial Electrician / Commercial Electrician / Electrical Engineer or similar.
  • Will be an SJIB, 18th edition qualified electrician with a background of industrial / commercial electrical service and installation.
  • Will be proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  • Offshore experience is desired but by no means essential
  • Electrically apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
  • Must be commutable to Aberdeen Harbour
