Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to oversee our clients private housing projects in Arbroath. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the construction site, managing subcontractors, and ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

– Oversee and manage all on-site activities to ensure efficient project delivery.
– Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring all work meets the required standards.
– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
– Conduct regular site inspections and resolve any issues or problems that may arise.
– Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project progress.
– Prepare and maintain accurate site reports, schedules, and documentation.
– Manage site logistics, including the ordering and delivery of materials.
– Monitor project budgets and control costs effectively.
– Ensure that all work is completed to the highest quality standards and in accordance with project specifications.

Requirements:

– Proven experience as a Site Manager in private housing projects.
– Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and standards.
– Excellent leadership and management skills.
– Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
– Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Proficiency in using construction management software and tools.
– Valid CSCS card, SMSTS, and First Aid certification.
– Full, clean driving license.

Qualifications:

– A degree or HND in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
– Relevant professional certifications or memberships are a plus.
