Job Description

GS3 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager for a Full Time role. Inital project will be a 8 month new school project in Armadale, West Lothian.


  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the construction site.
  • Ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety and quality standards.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety policies on-site, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor and control project budgets, costs, and resources.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential issues.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records.


  • Proven experience as a Construction Site Manager, ideally with a focus on shop refit projects.
  • Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) card is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with construction management software is a plus.
  • Relevant degree or certification in construction management or a related field.
