Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our client on a HVDC cable connection project in Scotland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all site operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily site operations, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth workflow.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including reports on progress, issues, and resolutions.
- Lead team meetings to communicate project goals, updates, and expectations effectively.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that all work meets the required standards.
- Address any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or in a similar role within the HV industry.
- Experience working on similar projects
- 10+ years experience
- Knowledge of HV cable connections, installations and terminations
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Computer Illiterate
