We are working with a well-established and highly respected civil engineering and infrastructure contractor to assist them in hiring a Site Manager for their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking business delivering critical infrastructure works across Scotland. The role offers long-term security, exposure to complex and rewarding projects, and the chance to play a key part in the successful delivery of works on site. Applications are welcomed from experienced Site Managers looking to take the next step, as well as Senior Site Managers seeking a fresh challenge.
As the Site Manager / Senior Site Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Overall management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
Leading and coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards
Planning and managing works in line with programme requirements
Liaising with project management, engineering and commercial teams
Maintaining accurate site records, reports and progress updates
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
Proven experience in a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager role within civil engineering or infrastructure projects
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent knowledge of health & safety legislation and best practice
Ability to manage programmes, resources and multiple stakeholders effectively
Relevant industry qualifications (e.g. SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid – or equivalent)
