Job Description

We are working with a reputable and growing civil engineering contractor to assist them in hiring a Site Manager for their civils team in Aberdeen. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic business delivering a range of infrastructure projects, where you will play a key role in ensuring successful project delivery while developing your career.

As the Site Manager your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Managing day-to-day site operations to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
Supervising site teams and subcontractors, ensuring high standards of performance and productivity
Supporting project planning, including short-term programming and resource allocation
Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site
Monitoring progress and reporting to senior management on programme, costs, and risks
Assisting with the preparation of method statements, risk assessments, and site documentation

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

Previous experience in a similar role within civil engineering
Strong knowledge of site operations, health & safety, and construction best practices
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving
