Job Description
First People Solutions are partnering with a leading civil engineering firm who specialise in concrete repair and subway tunnelling projects, and we are recruiting an experienced Site Engineer on a freelance contract basis for a 3-month project in Glasgow.
- Start date – 17/11
- Working hours – Day shift 9 to 5 and / or night shift 9 pm to 5 am,
- Work scope:
- Update relevant spreadsheet & documentation. Needs to be good with MS Office, particularly excel.
- Update drawings. Will have drawings to update in AutoCAD, needs to be good with CAD.
- Setting out is very limited. Any setting out would be based on drawings and “roughly”, no total station etc required.
- Surveys. You will need to survey tunnels against the scope of works drawings to be able to produce as built drawing.
- Day to day communication & orders – communicate daily with the site team (working night shift) + order etc.
- Handover / Quality assurance. Will help in delivering the handover documentation to client.
- Duration- 3 months.
