Job Description

I am currently recruiting a site engineer for a leading civils contractor. They are looking to on-board a site engineer to manage the engineering of an on-going civils and groundwork package being delivered for a valued client. The scope of works you will be overseeing will include earthworks, drainage and ducting.

Site engineer responsibilities:

  • Setting out and surveying.
  • Producing and recording As-built surveys.
  • Quality assurance checks.
  • ITPs.
  • Record keeping.
  • Liaising with main contractor and other subcontractors on site.
  • Health and safety compliance.
  • Reading drawings.
  • Reporting to project manager.

Site engineer requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • CSCS card.
  • Diploma or degree in civil engineering or surveying.
  • SSSTS/SMSTS – Desirable.
  • Proficient with GPS.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Previous experience with groundwork, drainage, earthworks, utilities.
