Job Title: Site Based Project Manager
Location: Edinburgh
Project: 230-bedroom Hotel Refurbishment
Contract Value: £11M
Job Type: Full-time, Site-based (5 days a week)
Salary & Package £50,000-£55,000 (hourly rate paid)
Reporting to: Senior Project Manager
Job Responsibilities:
– Oversee and manage all on-site activities for the Hotel refurbishment project.
– Conduct site induction, start-ups, and health & safety protocols.
– Monitor and update the project program and generate progress reports.
– Ensure the project runs on time and within budget.
– Coordinate with the Senior Project Manager and the trades on site
– Supervise all refurbishment works and manage on-site workforce.
– Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
– Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications.
– Provide daily site updates to the Senior Project Manager.
– Manage logistics, equipment, and materials for smooth project execution.
Requirements:
– SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) and First Aid certification are mandatory.
– Proven experience in hotel refurbishment or commercial office fit-out projects.
– Ability to manage projects valued up to £11M.
– Strong leadership and organizational skills.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work independently and lead a team.
– Flexibility to work on-site from Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm
