Job Description
We are working with a well-established and highly respected infrastructure and utilities contractor to assist them in hiring a Site Agent for their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to take a key role in the successful delivery of projects across critical national infrastructure, offering long-term stability and career progression within a supportive and safety-focused environment.
As the Site Agent, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Managing day-to-day site operations to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
Monitoring progress against programme and reporting to senior management
Managing RAMS, permits, and all site documentation
Liaising with clients, local authorities, and other key stakeholders
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
Proven experience working as a Site Agent within infrastructure or utilities projects
Strong leadership and people management skills
In-depth knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practice
Ability to manage programmes, resources, and costs effectively
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
