Shop Volunteer (Stock Assistant – Linlithgow)
Your local British Red Cross shop offers a range of volunteer activities. As a Stock Assistant you will help keep the shop running smoothly, from sorting and preparing donated items to providing friendly customer service.
Responsibilities
- Check the quality of donated items and prepare them for sale or recycling
- Replenish stock on the shop floor
- Iron, clean, label and price items ready for sale
- Create exciting window displays
- Sort donations for selling in the shop
- Assist with general shop activities and meet new people
Time commitment
A few hours during the week or weekend, as agreed with the shop manager. No minimum commitment or fixed hours. We only ask that you agree on hours you are confident you can attend and let us know if these change.
Skills and qualifications
No previous experience is needed; full training will be provided. A warm smile and friendly outlook are appreciated.
