Job Description
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safe and proactive approach to running of all plant equipment on SCADA.
- Assisting with breakdowns and escalation as required.
- Apply operational policies and risk assessments to ensure day to day operations are compliant, carried out safely, efficiently, and effectively, to the highest quality, positively driving the performance of the sites.
- Assist the Process Team Leader with continually improving processes towards Manufacturing Excellence.
- Report daily on the site OEE/KPI’s, documenting contributing factors when targets have not been met.
- Assist where required to document operational procedures and risk assessments, review and highlight when updates are required.
- Carry out first line maintenance tasks as per CMMS.
- Ensure safety of yourself, colleagues, and visitors by identifying and addressing any hazards on site.
- During shifts, ensure planned inspection/testing and maintenance regimes are carried out on time, liaising with the Maintenance Team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified to at least NC level or equivalent in an Engineering Discipline; ideally holding an HND/HNC/Degree or equivalent in Engineering Practice, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.
- Full driving licence and access to a car are required due to the location of the site.
- Full driving licence required as the role involves driving of site vehicles.
Shift Pattern
This is a 24 hour/365 day a year shift pattern with 159 worked shifts a year as standard. The day shift is 12 hours (7am 7pm). The night shift is 7pm 7am, with rostered breaks. Must be able and prepared to work night shifts.
