Setting Out Engineer Required
Paxton Personnel are looking for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to support the civil and construction work of a substation project. The role focuses on maintaining technical accuracy, quality standards, and smooth coordination on site.
Day Rate: £350 – £450 (Negotiable) Key Duties:
- Carry out precise setting out using surveying equipment
- Review drawings and raise technical queries where needed
- Support quality checks and inspection plans
- Prepare material quantities
- Complete as built surveys and maintain site records
- Work closely with project teams to resolve site issues
- Promote safe working practices and compliance
Requirements:
- Experience in civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Competent with Total Stations and GPS equipment
- Strong understanding of quality-controlled environments
- Valid CSCS card
- Good communication and organisational skills
