Enable is an award-winning social care charity looking for Personal Assistants (Support Workers) to support children and young people aged 5-18 with additional support needs at the Roslin House Project in Stevenston, North Ayrshire. The service is a state-of-the-art 8-bed respite facility.
Role Overview
Personal Assistants provide a wide range of support to help individuals achieve their personal goals and outcomes. Each person’s needs differ, so the role may involve personal care, moving and handling, and positive behavioural support. Personal Assistants work as part of a bespoke team that collaborates to ensure safety, wellbeing, and the aspirations of those they support are met.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, moving and handling, and positive behavioural support.
- Help expand clients’ social networks and connections.
- Support the Registered Service Manager by implementing innovation and maintaining a positive environment for clients and staff.

- Commitment and desire to support young people to achieve their best.
- No previous care experience required – Enable values transferable skills and personal values.
