Are you experienced in managing teams within the care sector, committed to promoting inclusion and ready to take the next step in your leadership journey? If yes, this could be the role for you! We have an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and proactive individual to join our Renfrewshire and Glasgow West team as a Services Manager, on a full time (37.5 hours per week), permanent basis.

As Services Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring TRFS is represented positively and professionally across relevant partnership forums. You will play a key role in the strategic development and oversight of existing services, ensuring they consistently meet and exceed regulatory requirements. Working closely with the Area Manager, you will support the development and implementation of strategic plans that drive continuous improvement in both practice and policy.

You will lead a number of Team Leaders across a range of services, including Care at Home, Housing Support and Community Outreach. Together, you will ensure high quality, person centred support is provided to individuals with a diverse range of needs, enabling them to achieve positive outcomes and live as independently as possible.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in management within a care setting supporting individuals with complex needs, autism, mental health and behaviours of concern.
  • An SVQ Level 4 in Care / Management or relevant qualification or a willingness to work towards one.
  • Hands on experience in supporting individuals with a range of support needs.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Exceptional leadership skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidence in using computers.

Other Requirements

We expect applicants to comply with the smoking policy applicable to the role. All successful applicants will be given a conditional offer, subject to satisfactory references and PVG; having a conviction will not necessarily debar you from working in this sector. All new staff members will be required to register with the SSSC within 3 months of their start date.
