Senior Nurse / Deputy Manager (RGN)

Location: Inverurie area, Aberdeenshire
Pay Rate: £24.00 per hour
Hours: 33.5 hours per week (days with occasional night cover)
Shifts: 7am-2pm / 10am-4pm / 2pm-8pm
Contract: Permanent (ASAP start)

Role

An established nursing home is seeking an experienced Senior Nurse, with a strong candidate able to take on a Deputy Manager remit, to join a small, focused team. The role involves days with occasional night cover and collaboration with the leadership team to deliver high quality care to residents.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality nursing and person centred care
• Lead and support the care team on shift
• Carry out venepuncture, cannulation, and general clinical skills
• Support medication management, care planning, and clinical governance
• Contribute to the leadership and operational running of the home
• Support residents with elderly care and dementia needs

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC PIN
• Strong clinical skills including venepuncture and cannulation
• Previous elderly / dementia nursing experience
• Managerial or supervisory experience (desirable)
• Confident leading a shift and mentoring the team
• Sponsorship not available
