Job Title: Senior / Principal Mechanical Building Services Engineer
Location: Glasgow (3 days office / 2 days WFH)
Contract: 12 months Inside IR35
Rate: 50-60/hr (Senior) 65-75/hr (Principal)
We’re looking for Mechanical Engineers to join a JV team delivering the Nuclear Technical Support Provider (NTSP) framework – a (Apply online only)m programme supporting the Clyde Infrastructure Programme (CIP) and wider Royal Navy / MOD projects.
The Role:
- Lead the design & delivery of building services systems (HVAC, water, drainage, fire protection) for nuclear facilities.
- Carry out mechanical calculations, flow analysis, and code-based design.
- Oversee drawings, schematics, schedules, and CAD/Revit models.
- Ensure compliance with nuclear, safety, and engineering standards.
- Collaborate across disciplines & mentor junior engineers.
Requirements:
- Proven building services & HVAC design experience.
- Strong background in mechanical calculations & design to code.
- Sole British nationality (security requirement).
