Hybrid Working Mentorship Role Clear Path to Planning Manager

I’m working with a well-established client in the residential development space who is looking to appoint a Senior Planner to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a planning professional with strong residential experience who s ready to step into a leadership role with a clear route to Planning Manager.

The Role

This is a hybrid position offering flexibility, while also being part of a collaborative and supportive planning team. The successful candidate will:

  • Lead on a range of residential planning applications

  • Act as a key point of contact for clients and local authorities

  • Provide guidance and mentor junior planners, helping shape the future of the team

  • Be involved in strategic input on projects and support senior leadership

  • Work across multiple projects at various stages of the planning process

What My Client is Looking For

  • Solid experience in residential planning (private or public sector)

  • Confident communicator with strong report writing and client liaison skills

  • Ability to manage projects and deadlines independently

  • Someone who enjoys developing junior talent and contributing to team growth

  • MRTPI qualified or working towards chartered status
