Senior Physiotherapist – Ross Hall Hospital – Glasgow
Weeks: 37.5 hours per week (Full time, Permanent)
Salary: Up to £46,250.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist to join our Physiotherapy department. The position will be based in our Inpatients Ward working with predominantly post-surgical patients. Previous experience of orthopaedic and other ward based rehabilitation is essential for the position.
This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
Responsibilities
- Independently assess and treat patients with more complex needs across inpatient or outpatient settings.
- Develop individualised treatment plans using a variety of physiotherapy techniques to optimise recovery, function, and independence.
- Manage a designated caseload efficiently, prioritising based on clinical urgency and discharge planning needs.
- Act as a point of contact for junior physiotherapists, therapy assistants, and students, offering guidance and informal supervision.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and professional clinical records in line with HCPC, CSP, and local policy.
- Participate in audits, service evaluations, and quality improvement projects.
Qualifications & Experience
- HCPC registered Physiotherapist.
- Solid post registration experience across a range of clinical areas.
- Strong clinical reasoning and decision making skills.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to team working and service improvement.
