Night Support Worker When the world’s asleep, you’re making a difference

So, what does a typical night look like?You’ll lead our small overnight team, making sure everything runs smoothly. Whether it’s supporting your colleagues, helping someone with personal care, giving medication or writing up notes, you’ll be at the heart of it all. Most of all, you’ll help people feel safe, respected and cared for.

Who are we looking for?You’ve probably worked in care before and feel ready to take on a bit more responsibility. You’re confident, kind and calm, even when things don’t go to plan. If you’ve got your SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or you’re working towards it), that’s ideal. You’ll also need to be registered with the SSSC or able to get registered.

But more than anything, we’re looking for someone who genuinely cares. Someone who knows that a quiet chat at 3am can mean just as much as anything else we do.

As we do our work in Christ’s name the job you have applied for requires you to have a Christian faith and be able to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos. This is an Occupational Requirement under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
