Our client, a leading player in the defence and security sector, is currently seeking a Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer (Electronics) to join their dynamic team in Fife, Scotland. This is a full-time, permanent role within a highly respected global leader in Manufacturing and Defence projects.
Important: All applicants must be able to obtain Security Clearance minimum 5 years UK residency
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on the full test lifecycle and diagnostics process
- Provide input to design authorities for successful DFM/DFT implementation
- Support bid work as required
- Engage in process improvement tasks
- Mentor junior engineers early in their career
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in electronics test and diagnostics, particularly in a high-reliability environment
- Electronics qualification such as HND or degree
- Experience working on defence or military products
- Knowledge of high reliability electronics
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Permanent UK residency with successful background checks for a baseline BPSS security check
