Senior Manager – Mental Health & Learning Disability Service

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Manager to join the Fife Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP). You will lead the Mental Health and Learning Disability Service, overseeing a staff allocation of 817 WTE with a budget of £39.7 m for Mental Health and 175 WTE with a budget of £8.4 m for Learning Disability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Mental Health & Learning Disability Service, ensuring services remain fit for purpose and meet rising public expectations and clinical standards.
  • Lead the day to day management of the service, delegating authority and responsibility in accordance with national, HSCP and NHS Fife policies, directives and objectives.
  • Contribute fully to the corporate management and governance arrangements within the Complex and Critical Care Senior Management Team.
  • Operate within a high level of autonomy, implementing change and transformation initiatives to modernise services and keep individuals and their families at the centre.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Complex and Critical Care Services, reporting operationally and ensuring alignment with the strategic plan for quality, sustainability and person centred care.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant professional qualification and registration with the appropriate body.
  • Extensive managerial experience at a senior level in a public or private sector environment.
  • Demonstrated outstanding strategy, leadership and influencing skills.
  • Strong commitment to the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion.

Location

Post based at Lynebank Hospital, Dunfermline or Stratheden Hospital, Cupar.
