iMultiply is supporting this global business in their search for a Senior Management Accountant to join the finance team in one of their UK divisions.

This role will be based in Edinburgh, working on a hybrid basis with a salary up to £65,000 depending on experience.

The finance team supports the organisations delivery of its mission, strategic priorities and business objectives. While utilising their ERP system, the team is responsible for effectively managing and planning the organisations financial resources, identification of sustainable funding streams, as well as accurate and timely financial statutory and management reporting.

The role

Reporting to the divisions Financial Accounting Manager, the position of Senior Management Accountant is a new addition to the team. You will become an integral part of a thriving and innovative Group, responsible for providing support to internal stakeholders. You will be involved in:

  • extracting valuable, actionable insight from the financials and partnering with colleagues to support them in making better, more informed and data drives decisions, the supervision and completion of month end activities,
  • reviewing and improving the necessary processes and reporting to increase the effectiveness of this business partnering role.
  • interrogating the P&L,
  • supporting the small divisional finance team in the completion of the month end activities,
  • Servicing any necessary, ad hoc queries from group.

To be considered you must possess strong management accounting and finance business partnering experience. This experience will ideally be gained in a fast paced, high volume environment.

The ideal candidate

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:

  • Qualified Accountant (ICAS, ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA),
  • Change and process improvement experience, ideally from a management reporting perspective in an ERP,
  • Proactive self-starter with proven ability to problem solve complex issues,
  • Must have sound knowledge and expertise with core IT packages including advanced use of excel,
  • Excellent communicator and strong team player,
  • Experience of working in an international, listed or PE-backed company would be beneficial.

What’s on offer

This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis with a salary up to £65,000 depending on experience. The role will offer a hybrid approach to office-based work also.
